About VoxAntivirus

A Windows desktop application for on-device scanning and monitoring, from VoxDigits Communications LLC.

Our Story

VoxDigits Communications LLC was founded in 2024. We are building VoxAntivirus for Windows desktop and Android, with a Windows desktop application that scans files using SHA-256 signature matching and monitors selected folders on your PC.

Headquartered in Woodbridge, Virginia, USA, we are a small team working in the open. VoxAntivirus scans detect only known files whose hashes are included in the signature database, and its monitoring alerts you to observed changes and suspicious activity. It does not block or prevent threats.

We are honest about what the app does today and what it may become tomorrow.

Why We Built VoxAntivirus

  • • To give Windows users clear, on-device scanning and monitoring tools
  • • To keep the experience lightweight and simple
  • • To be transparent about what the app does and does not do
  • • To scan locally without uploading your file contents
  • • To put quarantine and restore decisions in your hands

Our Mission

To give Windows users transparent, on-device tools for scanning and monitoring their PC — with honest limits.

Our Vision

A world where everyday users have clear, on-device tools to understand what is on their Windows PC.

What VoxAntivirus Is — and Isn't

VoxAntivirus is available for Windows desktop and Android. The Windows desktop application scans folders and USB drives using SHA-256 signature matching against an included database, monitors selected folders, alerts on suspicious activity, and manages the Windows Firewall. Detection is limited to known included hashes, and monitoring alerts rather than blocks. It does not claim to protect against, block, or prevent malware, ransomware, or phishing.

Important limits

  • • Scans detect only known files whose hashes are included in the signature database. They do not detect unknown or emerging threats.
  • • Real-time monitoring alerts you to observed changes in selected folders. It does not block threats.
  • • Ransomware monitoring alerts you to suspicious activity. It does not prevent or stop ransomware.
  • • Download checks flag executable file types. They do not block phishing or malicious downloads.
  • • Firewall features manage the Windows Firewall. VoxAntivirus does not provide a separate firewall.
  • • VoxAntivirus does not claim to protect against, block, or prevent malware, ransomware, or phishing, and does not remove threats beyond items you choose to quarantine.

Windows desktop and Android. macOS and iOS are not supported.
